Today was better than yesterday, but still a few setbacks. Yesterday we were told that you would need a blood transfusion today. You also needed to go back on the ventilator and lamp for jaundice. When we came to visit at 9 am, you had the light on you and the ventilator in. As for the blood transfusion, they said that you didn't need it because your platelet count went up - which is good news! Daddy asked the nurse if that was a good sign because of your brain bleed and she said in her experience, it is a good sign. The doctor didn't say much because we are thinking she didn't want to get our hopes up. Friday's ultrasound will hopefully show improvement, although she said it may take weeks to show any improvement.
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful which is a good thing. Mommy got to change your poopy diaper and take your temperature. I read you a book before saying goodnight. Keep fighting little buddy! You are doing great! We are so proud of you!
